Socque x Harpo Collaboration

Socque Paris and Harpo sign a limited-edition collaboration around the Totem loafer and turquoise, Harpo’s emblematic stone.

Together, we imagined two pieces at the crossroads of our worlds: an embroidered loafer adorned with a silver and turquoise jewel, and a jewel designed to tie around a bandana.

Description

A piece of jewelry conceived as a good-luck charm.

Created in collaboration with Harpo, this solid 925 sterling silver scarf ring is set with a natural turquoise, selected for its one-of-a-kind character. Handcrafted in the United States by Native American artisans from the Southwest, it carries the story of a living stone and a time-honored gesture. Slipped around a scarf or a bandana, it is worn as a precious detail, almost talismanic, meant to be given as a gift or treasured for years to come.

Item sold without the bandana. The bandana is available for purchase on Harpo’s website.

Material & Care

This piece is made using high-quality materials.

• Main metal: solid sterling silver 925/1000. United States.
• Stone: natural turquoise. United States.

Care : sterling silver may naturally oxidize over time. We recommend cleaning your jewelry regularly with a soft cloth suitable for silver. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, and chemical products to preserve the brilliance of both the turquoise and the metal.

BETWEEN PARIS AND THE AMERICAN WEST

For over fifty years, Harpo has travelled the American West in search of exceptional stones and the communities who shape them. Through its journeys across Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, the house has built lasting relationships with Native American artisans from the American Southwest.

The silver and turquoise pieces created for this collaboration are handcrafted using skills passed down within these communities. Stone cutting, silverwork, setting, hand-engraved motifs: each piece carries the mark of a precise, time-honoured gesture.

Long regarded as a living and protective stone, turquoise holds a special place in the history of the peoples of the American Southwest. From pale blue to deeper shades of green, each stone bears the imprint of the land it comes from.

This is what makes the collaboration so distinctive: the Socque pieces are adorned with a jewel crafted on the other side of the world, by hands carrying forward a rare tradition.
